I've just completed another set of 14 patches. Sorry for giving you more
work. :)

It mostly (but not entirely) about using the new elf_file object in more
places and moving elf-related stuff from modinfo and modprobe to elfops.
Shortstat: 9 files changed, 305 insertions(+), 280 deletions(-)

It's not on github yet, I want sit on it until I've run live tests on
x86 32/64 first, which should happen this weekend I hope.

Anyway, would you want this stuff to go into 3.9 too or should I aim for
4.0?
