IIO interface for color light sensing

Hello,

back in April, an IIO device interface for color light sensing devices was 
proposed (http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel.iio/3528)

any progress on that?

I'm playing with a ADJD-S311 sensor (10-bit per channel: R, G, B and 
clear/white/brightness) which would be a good fit
