Xlog-2.0.4 compile error

Hello,

The following are the last few lines generated by make. I cannot see anything 
missing after running configure. I'm using Mandriva 2010.1. Can anyone offer a 
suggestion?

lrt -lglib-2.0   /usr/local/lib 
/usr/local/lib: file not recognized: Is a directory
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
