Linux Soundmodem.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has done real world tests with the Linux  
Soundmodem and satellites?  I'm just putting some scripts together to  
automate an APRS (PCSAT2 9600bps) ground station for me and was  
wondering if anyone has any comments/suggestions as to a 'best'  
configuration.  Of course different soundcards may require different  
settings, but I'm just looking for a ballpark.
