E3C EC168 linux support possible?

Hi,

I bought a Freeview DVB-t USB dongle based on the E3C EC168 chipset without 
checking if there was support for it under Linux.

The dongle is a  SinoVideo 3420A-2

I was wondering does anyone know if there's linux support in development for 
this device?
