Wouldn't be a sample format conversion tool for Linux not be useful?

A script you can use to convert Kontakt format to SFZ for example?

You do realize that most of the commerical formats support, and most releases for them, are encrypted right?  It isn't just converting formats but also decrypting the samples for playback is the issue.

Even those libraries that use SFZ can be encrypted, see Garritan's for instance, which I emailed a while back in the hopes to get it working in Linuxsampler.  The response I received was not shutting the door, but didn't sound like they were moving to quickly on it either.
