Hi Iaian!I wonder, if you really have JACK_MIDI ports then after all. Try aconnect -li and aconnect -lo. You can connect ALSA MIDI ports just with:
aconnect 16 128Or something similar. I don't know,how to just disconnect two ports. You can disconnect all midi ports with aconnect -x. But the man page should give you more info on that. For when I run Aeolus, which has a JACK_MIDI port, it shows up with jack_lsp, no special options nothing special done to .asoundrc. But you can start jackd with some options to give you ports for your soundcard.
