I think redhat-config-mouse is new to psyche as I did not notice it in null, but I have noticed that both releases fail to recognise my Logitech wheel mouse which I fixed in null by editing some xfconfig file. Now that I see this tool has been added I thought that's good, I don't need to edit any config files, but after switching to a generic 3 mutton wheel mouse the mouse behaviour went all weird so I could not use it. I alt-tabbed back in to the console and restarted redhat-config-mouse, and reset the mouse setting to the original 3 button mouse, but the behaviour remained whichever mouse type I tried. I can try editing the config file again but I am not sure how to start and restart the mouse services as this tool did, although I can of course restart X, especially if I knew a better way than log in&out or ctl-alt-backspace, log back in. I think it's unfortunate such a critical piece of hardware control should go wrong as it feels like you have lost the whole system when the mouse won't work. Also when using the config tool without a mouse some of the options like opening mouse manufacturer groups are not available via the regular keystrokes that must be used if the mouse is lost. _______________________________________________ Limbo-list mailing list Limbo-list@redhat.com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/limbo-list
