Nothing on the various technical news and portal sites.  Unless I
missed something in may hasty review.

Just 7 days out from release, I would have expected at least an
announcement (and the taking of pre-orders).

P.S. - And if this sounds like so much speculation and wasted bandwidth
       to many on the list, please remember that some of us have to plan
       installations for a wide set of machines.  Information, accurate
       that is, translates directly into time and money.  Indulge us a
       we bit.
