Pardon my ignorance, but although I've been a Linux user for 3-4 years, I'm not a developer... It's been mentioned that (null) is binary incompatible with previous releases (i.e. limbo and valhall) because of changes in the C++ ABI included with gcc-3.2. What exactly does this mean? I've noticed that executables compiled on a 7.3 system work with my (null) system (same machine); does it have something to do with previously compiled object code that can/cannot be linked in with newly compiled code? Any enlightenment is appreciated! AL __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
