NASA INVITES MEDIA TO ATTEND INTERNATIONAL SPACE UNIVERSITY CLOSING CEREMONY

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- Media are invited to attend the closing 
ceremony for the International Space University's Space Studies 
Program on Friday, Aug. 3, from 5-7 p.m. EDT at the Kennedy Space 
Center Visitor Complex. NASA Administrator Charles Bolden will serve 
as the keynote speaker for the event.

The Space Studies Program is a nine-week intensive course designed for 
post-graduate university students and professionals. Each year, a 
different country hosts the program, providing a unique educational 
experience for participants from around the globe. This year's 
session, which is co-hosted by the Florida Institute of Technology in 
Melbourne and the Kennedy Space Center, has more than 130 
participants from 31 countries. The International Space University's 
headquarters is in Strasbourg, France.
