I am actually surprised that you managed to figure out the issue on
the system you mention. That does sound crazy.
However, unfortunately, changing the antialiasing from enabled to
disabled and back to system did not help. Neither did forcing a
specific font DPI. I actually did try that when you mentioned it, in
System Settings as well as in Konsole.
In any case I'm now using the DejaVu Sans font, which is not affected
and looks decent. Thanks, Duncan!
