iSCSI protocol implementation

I am a newcomer to iSCSI world and some questions on its protocol implementation.

 

I apologize if this is not the right forum to address this question. Please point me to the appropriate list.

 

Q1: What is most popular/stable iSCSI target protocol stack?
 

Q2: If someone could please provide pointers to other stacks and maybe share their experiences with different iSCSI implementations

(IET, intel-iscsi, chelsio etc, I will really appreciate that!
