Forwarding this here as its partly related. Can anyone tell me if the 5.x branch (open-iscsi-0.4-408.tar.gz) supports XFS? Or is the only option for stable XFS support to get an HBA for the time being..? Thanks :) -- Matthew Kent \ SA \ bravenet.com

Sorry one last question and this may be an ignorant one, but I'm pretty green with iscsi. I know there are difficulties with the current stable iscsi software initiator (4.0.2) for linux and XFS (http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-xfs&m=109334402602841&w=2) but for all intents and purposes should XFS run properly over an HBA?
