[linux-iscsi-users] Problem with fedora core 3
Hello,
We are trying to get linux-iscsi up and running with fedora core 3 and have
some problems.
It says that we need "iscsi_transport_class.ko" and we cannot find that
anywhere (totally combed cvs.)
Here is what we are barfing on:
[root@zamboni linux-iscsi-4.0.1.11]# make
Note: using kernel source from /lib/modules/2.6.10/build containing
kernel version 2.6.10
Note: using kernel config from /lib/modules/2.6.10/build/.config
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/kernel/linux-2.6.10/linux-2.6.10'

/usr/src/iscsi2/linux-iscsi-4.0.1.11/driver/iscsi-session.c:491: warning:

make[2]: *** [/usr/src/iscsi2/linux-iscsi-4.0.1.11/driver/iscsi-session.o]

make[1]: *** [_module_/usr/src/iscsi2/linux-iscsi-4.0.1.11/driver] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel/linux-2.6.10/linux-2.6.10'
make: *** [module] Error 2
I dont know if we are going to barf further or not. I tried going into
makefile and commenting out all of the driver refs and seeing if it would
just move on to the daemon and see what happened but that didnt work at all.
I have gone into the .config and made sure that scsi and all of crypto mods
are installed, not loaded as mods.
It seems like I am just missing something and I hvae no idea what it is.
Backtracked into iscsi-session but dont really want to fuck with the source
at this point.
Please, please help if you can. You can get me here or if it is much faster
call me at 415.596.5789.
