Add redirect based on source address signaling. that's about 10% of the complexity for the edge network, and the author's point is that it's something they don't need to deal with in IPv4 due to NAT. I think the author of the article would point to the above tone as characteristic of the "priesthood" he's complaining about. You might want to rethink that.
