That's not what I meant. I meant "what drugs induced somebody to write that function and give it that name, since it clearly has never seen rfc2047, and has nothing to do with it". In other words, it sure as hell didn't come from the rfc2047 in this universe, so it must have come from some exciting alternate alien universe with different laws of nature and internet. Or maybe there's just another rfc2047 that I've not heard of.
