I discovered the compiled V. 2.4.3. It is not on
http://gimp.org/downloads/

(where I enter directly; there is only 2.4.2)

but on 
http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html

- but still the same error message about missing BZ2_bzCompress@8 in
bzip2.dll. So I deleted bzip2.dll (and .exe) in GIMP\bin and
reinstalled. Now I have I file 22.11.07 00:11:14 - and no more error
message.
UFRAW 0.13 replaces it with an older (and smaller) one: 7.6.2004 23:05:46
but GIMP still works !
