Missing Button - Keep Transparent

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

I recently installed GIMP version 2.4.2 on my laptop running windows
XP (sp2).

I was learning to use the program from an internet tutorial when I ran
into a problem.

In the layer dialog box the "keep transparent" button is missing.

So far I have done the following:
checked the software settings to see if the button was deactivated.
checked the gimp website.
looked at other gimp related websites.
uninstalled/reinstalled the original downloaded software.
downloaded a fresh copy of the software and reinstalled.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Any help would be appreciated!
