how to upgrade Gimp to newer version

I jsut downloaded Gimb 2.4.2 and would like to upgrade to 2.4.3 but I 
am having problems how to do this. 
without a wizzard I am lost.
so can anyone give me instructions how to update. Please use language 
an idiot like myself can understand and make it step by step for 
computer retarded .... lol
