Now that is the problem :D. The GIMP Help I uploaded is in CHM,
DevHelp, PDF, and DjVu formats, all of which are to be independently
viewed from GIMP. To view the CHM just double click it on Windows or
use a CHM viewer on Linux or Mac. To view the DevHelp open it with
Gnome Help viewer. To open the DjVu use something like DjVuLibre
viewer or windjview on Windows. DjVu is like PDF but it's 8 MBs
smaller.

Now why can't the help file be integrated with GIMP? Because the GIMP
help viewer use an XML file called gimp-help.xml to produce the table
of contents. The gimp-help.xml that is produced when I processed the
DocBook files has something like ch06s02.html for referencing the
generated HTML files but the actual file name generated is
gimp-using-web.html which means that the table of contents works but
it will not do anything if you click on it.

I have tried to fix the filenames but the resulting xml is not very
satisfying, i.e. not all nodes worked. Also creating gimp-help.xml by
reading the table of contents from index.html did not work either
since the GIMP need a specific id for context sensitive help.
