Ohhhh! Duh! It came with 90 days of Bulldog. I've been letting that run 
its course before switching to AVG, the tried and true freeware.

Thanks for reminding me of this. I'll switch sooner.

In fact, after spending about an hour clicking Retry every two to four 
seconds, it did install, and after comparing a couple of folders with 
the installation on my desktop computer, I think all the files are there.

I just updated that one to 2.4.2 from 2.2. I really like that scalable 
brushes have been added! At this point, I think GIMP has more versatile 
paint tools than that Adobe product. As soon as Adjustment Layers appear 
for photo work, PS is going bye-bye!
