Hi Marcus, thanks a lot, this works more or less perfect, but anyhow better than before without it.
Closing seems to be a problem, but can be done by taskmanager.

Greetings, Marga

  Hi Marga de Bruyne
  In fact I was looking for the same this evening and after some searching
  I found this:

  http://registry.gimp.org/plugin?id=3892
  <http://registry.gimp.org/plugin?id=3892>

  What I did: I installed in the way the readme-file explained (not hard)
  and it was opened together with gimp (as an own .exe), I think it says
  The GIMP in the "title"-bar. I do not remember, but in some of the
  menues in this window you can see the version of GIMP the plug in "is
  configured" to support. This I changed from 2.x(zero I believe) to 2.4.
  After this I experienced some freezing window as in, I could not close
  the app, but I forced it to quit thru windows task manager and it seems
  to work now. Just open gimp... I have not tested it for many minutes but
  it seems like I good choice [:D]

  Good luck
