Check to make sure Red was the Top color in the color picker. If
green was on top then it would be the foreground color

PaintShop Pro, Adobe, or Macromedia do very simply. I think it's
mainly a mindset change.

Yes Will- you were right. I figured it out and it is a mindset thing as
well. I find myself keying for Illustrator then having to Z back.
