Commercial usage of GIMP | |

Hello,
I'm an IT engineering student, and I was wondering if GIMP can be used
commercially. I mean if I use GIMP to edit / create some images,
professionnally, is it alright ?
Where can I get information about this ?
To be clear, let's say I work for this compagny and I install GIMP at
work on their computers, and then I edit some images for a project I'm
working on. Would that be alright ?
Thanks for helping out :-)
