(gimp-2.0.exe:3272): Glib-CRITICAL **: file gconvert.c: line 498 
(g_convert): assertion 'str != NULL' failed

I tried un-installing and reinstalling Gimp 2.0 and GTK, made sure there 
were no other versions, reinstalled in a different location et cetera. It 
works fine on an older Dell desktop just fine but not on a 3 GHz IBM, 512 
RAM, desktop running patched XP. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

A slightly different question, is there a database of problems/issues for 
Gimp? I plan to do a workshop on 2.0 in the near future and thought it 
might be a useful resource it one existed.

As always, thanks for any insight on this amazing and wonderful program.
