GIMP suggestion: Ctrl while pressing up/down button on spin-edits to jump to nearest whole number

The spin-edits e.g. for the size of the brush allow minute size changes as they increment by 0.01 (in v2.8.0). It would be helpful if they could increment/decrement by 1.0 if the user presses Ctrl at the same time as clicking on the up/down button.
(First time post to gimp-user-list so I hope I have done it right - if not please tell me)
