CMYK/ RGB printing | |

I have noticed a considerable difference between printing on a CMYK printer and a RGB printer. Is there a way to view the same picture both ways so as to adjust so as to keep the colours as true as possible? I am sure that there is a better way of posing this question but I am afraid my knowledge of the subject is really limited. I would value ideas please.
