Hi all, I was wondering, is there a way to make layers boundless (a la certain expensive application from adobe)? I've tried to resize the boundaries for a single layer (from 800x600 to 8000x6000) and the responsiveness of gimp goes down the drain.. The saved filesize (xcf) is reasonable, but in memory terms, it seems to be taking up an amount proportional to the size of the layer. I don't really see the necessity of forcing boundaries on the layers and thus causing problems when they're resized like so.. or am I the only one? Curious to know what everyone else thinks :) ~K _______________________________________________ Gimp-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
