[Gimp-user] missing charset ?! | |

Hi! I run into problems using gimp: 90% of the fonts I can choose from in the font selection dialog are unusable! When I select them gimp says that it couldn't find the font and on the text console where I startet gimp from I get the output: Gdk-WARNING **: Missing charsets in FontSet creation Gdk-WARNING **: ISO8859-15 Gdk-WARNING **: ISO8859-15 I never selected a font with encoding iso8859-15. Just to make sure I fetched a file iso8859-15.enc from the internet and installed it in .../fonts/encoding and added an entry to ../fronts/encondings/encodings.dir without success. Also I ran type1inst in the directory .../fonts/type1 and mkfontdir in each font directory. I also made sure that the FontPaths in XF86Config are set correctly. So I can't help myself at the moment. Has anybody an idea how I can make my fonts usable for gimp? Thanks in advance, Martin
