Hi all, My version of the GIMP actually works, so I guess there's no urgency here, but I'm still a little curious about something. I have Redhat7.1, and Gimp 1.2.1. when I start Gimp from the command line I get the following messages: <begin crap> Can't locate Gimp.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at /usr/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/Perl-Server line 19. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/Perl-Server line 19. LibGimp-WARNING **: gimp: wire_read: unexpected EOF Can't locate Gimp.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at /usr/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/animate_cells line 21. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/animate_cells line 21. <end crap> And on and on and on. Then the Gimp will start and work fine. So I guess my question is: what the heck is Gimp.pm? What is a pm file? What's a wire_read? And why should there be an unexpected EOF in said wire_read? Thank you for your time.
