Not an expert here, and I didn't see a response to your question, so here's a solution I think will work. You should be able add an alpha channel, select your dog image, invert the selection and cut the background away. You then can save it as a png or gif. I don't believe jpeg supports transparency. Also, if you save it as a png, netscape will not properly present the transparency, so your best bet is probably gif. John culleton wrote: > > This is a newbie question.
