I don't need more fonts to install, just access to the ones I have. > % xset fp+ ~/FONTS/freefont > % xset fp rehash I ran these (using the full path name /usr/X11R6/lib/Xll/fonts/) for both the URW fonts and the Type1 fonts. Even after rehashing, not all the installed fonts are visible. I wonder if some applications can see certain fonts and others cannot. Our corporate logotype is the company name in small caps using the Baker Signet typeface. I don't have Baker Signet as an option although it's installed on my system. This is the missing piece I want to figure out: how to access all that I already have. Rich
