Test the same font in a word processor (like AbiWord) to see if it's a Gimp problem. If it still happens, is there a newer version of XFree86 or a patch? If not, try reporting the bug to the team that wrote XFree86 (or if you have some sort of font interpretter program, the makers of that program). >Hello, > >I'm trying to use a truetype font with Gimp 1.2.1 under XFree86 4.1.0 >(the machine runs FreeBSD 4.4-RC) and Gimp cut some characters. >Here's the result: http://webperso.easynet.fr/fonvi/gimp/test-free.jpg > >If i use win32 version (1.2.0), the result is ok: >http://webperso.easynet.fr/fonvi/gimp/test-win.jpg > >You could find the font at: >http://webperso.easynet.fr/fonvi/gimp/georges.ttf > >I think it's an X problem. > >Any advices? > >Marc >_______________________________________________ > >Gimp-user@lists.xcf.berkeley.edu >http://lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user > >
