changing brightness or levels only for viewing | |

Hi, I have a scanned image that I'm cutting sections out of. Its a grayscale image and the brightness and contrast are just right for printing (which is my final goal). However, there are some sections that I just can't see on the screen to cut out. I'd like to change the brightness or maybe the levels so I can see in the shadows for editing, but I don't want this to affect how it prints. Can I do that? Thanks for any help. please cc: me on any replys. -Dan
