Hi Jenn,
Someone else will respond to this much more coherently that I can, but
the long and short of it is, just because software is free to download
and use doesn't make it legal to profit from its sale unfortunately
(for some). I forget the word for the open-source license that governs
it, but I think you are only allowed to distribute copies to other
people if you don't charge them.
