I just started using GIMP 2.2.17 a few weeks ago,
my main learning focus is the book "Grokking the GIMP",
which is written in a way that I find very clear.
Except for fooling around with an earlier version of GIMP for a few
months, this is my first attempt at graphic arts, so anywhere you
see me I'm here to learn.
Here I am almost 60 years old and I suddenly find a way to express
myself that I feel comfortable with; thank God for GIMP, 'cause I
can't afford Photoshop! I've started an album here called EscortSteve.
I'm not yet to the point of creating my own images from scratch or
taking my own photographs, so I'm using mostly stock photos, most of
which I've obtained limited rights to use.
