Hi,
You can tell your GIMP to open them.
1- Right-button-click any .PNG file.
2 - Select Open With option
3 - Find GIMP in the menu
4 - There is a field you can tick in to associate all
.PNG files with GIMP.
Keep in mind that GIMP is nothing but your pet.
