Looks great.
I tried to make a curve with a bevelled edge the other day using
Inkscape and The Gimp and I realised I really don't even know how to
do that. I've read half of Grokking .. I probably should read the
rest.
When I was a PaintShop Pro user there was a mailing list which had a
weekly project which someone had written up. It wasn't triffically
exciting .. lots of photo frames .. but I just wonder whether anyone
knows of something similar in our world. And if not .. shall we set
one up?
I wouldn't like to give Marek work to do, but I'd be overjoyed if,
instead of creating a piece one day, he provided some instructions of
how to create one of the week's pieces. Maybe we could create a
community that does that if it doesn't already exist.
The other fruitful area would be to take a current magazine's how to
(inevitably using Photoshop) and translate it to use The Gimp.
Any thoughts?
