I wonder how PS managed to do that without taking into account the
aspect ratio, it should have been the same. Anyway, I haven't seen
the output made from PS so I can't conclude. You can, however, crop
out from that scaled image (the unstretched one) to achieve the
desired size, but removing some parts though.
Oops. Or you can make a blank canvas (as a border later on) sized the
way you want and just paste the correctly scaled image above that.
