[ogfs-users]News from Switzerland

Hello,

I have posted here about problems with OpenDLM, CCM access, and a few
tries of mounting more than one OGFS partition, or having 3 nodes
accessing data. Situation was getting nicer, but it was not really
stable, and my deadline was approaching (mid August for a User test).

So I decided to test RedHat GFS. My target being 2 file system clusters
(one HA and one CPU related clusters), I tried the CVS download. Fun
part was to run a 2.6.7 kernel on RedHat 7.3 (it works!)

Performance looks a lot faster than with OGFS, and I was having locking
problems with my application, it's now solved.

Looks like I will be able to implement that live. My own testing phasis
is nearly finished.

Regards,
Arnaud
