Interesting. Given this, should the openMosix project be planning to continue their MFS filesystem (which is currently scheduled for elimination in favor of OpenGFS)?

Unfortunately, I'm not a developer. However, I am very interested in the progress and products of both projects.

I'm sorry to say "likely not", unless you would like to prepare one.
We've been laying kind of low since RedHat bought Sistina back in
December.  RedHat announced around then that they would be open-sourcing
the Sistina GFS within the first half of the year (coming up real soon
now ... we'll see what happens).
