[ogfs-dev]Update on ODLM with OGFS

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know I've updated the HOWTO-opendlm on the
OpenGFS website. I've added short descriptions of the software
components, edited some info that was copied from HOWTO-nopool, but was
memexp-related, added info to enable using OpenDLM with a pre-existing
OGFS filesystem (with memexp as default lock protocol), and generally
added some detail and typo corrections. Please take a look, and let me
know if you see any holes/mistakes.

I'm having trouble getting ODLM to work well, however ... I'm
experiencing the same problem that Brian Jackson experiences, or
something very similar. When mounting, the filesystem code freezes
(doesn't lock up the whole machine, however). It seems to be waiting
for the "transaction" lock, after having successfully obtained several
other locks (e.g. mount, deadman, meta, inode, nopen lock types). I'm
looking into it as job #1 for right now.

Also, I'd like to find a way to use the OpenDLM config file, rather than
the legacy OGFS cluster info device (cidev) to determine the # of nodes
in the config, and *this* machine's journal ID. Now that I know what
info is in the OpenDLM config file, I think it should be possible, which
would simplify installation of OGFS.
