I'm afraid I don't think I really have the skills to 
take on something like that.  But if I find some time
to poke around I might see what I can come up with.  I'll
save the data just in case.

It's not crashing the server, and there's other ways I
can backup the content on the opengfs partition so it's
not critical or anything.  I just wanted to report it.
