I did get them to compile when I just had the default Ubuntu
installation of gegl, which I think was version 0.18. But none of the
python examples were working for me, kept getting errors like 'function
has no attribute x' for any argument passed into a gegl function, so I
figured Ubuntu was just out of date and I installed direct from SVN.
Is there anywhere it says what version the python bindings are designed
for? Or anyone know if/when they will be updated? I couldn't find any
info, and last commit looks like it was in November
