GDM login screen no more presents the user (icon) list for logging in

Dear all,

after running the most recent F17 updates, the GDM login no more shows
the user (icon) list. Only "Not listed" is presented. I have to enter
the user's name manually, clicking to it in the list not possible
(because not presented).
