I think rebooting a lot helped. Oh ... and installing the source for the RT kernel. So, I presume people can do this for NVIDIA drivers and all sorts now. Nice and easy compared to before! Also, jack works with FFADO and my Focusrite card straight away, easy. In bad news, the fonts in Ardour have gone HUGE.
