From there you can check out the git repo, make the appropriate DocBook XML edits, and commit the corrected version. If you're skittish about doing that, you can grab the source from the git repo, make the appropriate DocBook XML edits, and attach the resulting patch to the open bug. The final option is to write up the plain text changes and include them in the open bug. One or more docs contributors will then do the appropriate markup and commit the updates. Does this help?
