I can't give a date yet, but following the FESCo approval of the feature

Just don't hold your fingers crossed that anyone can use this to replace 
yum with. Not only that a subset of the full yum functionality is 
supported (see the thread about 'yum history'), but the plugins API etc. 
is not ready either.

ATM it is just what it is: an experimental fork of Yum using libsolv inside.
