From: rog1@iinet.net.au Date: 2 May 2002 03:27:07 -0000 However a friend of my'ne has an epson stylus colour 1160. I cannot see any dots on any his prints. Both the 1160 and 3000 have 1440x720 dpi printing and 4 colour. Why the difference in quality? Smaller dots. The 1160 prints 4 pl dots (actually, multiple sizes of dots, but the smallest are 4 pl); the 3000's dots are a lot larger. -- Robert Krawitz <rlk@alum.mit.edu> http://www.tiac.net/users/rlk/ Tall Clubs International -- http://www.tall.org/ or 1-888-IM-TALL-2 Member of the League for Programming Freedom -- mail lpf@uunet.uu.net Project lead for Gimp Print/stp -- http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net "Linux doesn't dictate how I work, I dictate how Linux works." --Eric Crampton - Turn off HTML mail features.
